Charles Darwin exhibition
Client: American Museum of Natural History
Spatial design for exhibition / New York, July 2006
I was hired by Stephanie Reyer, the director of the spatial graphics department, to complete my internship at the Museum of Natural History and work on the traveling exhibition “Looking at Life,” which focuses on Charles Darwin’s legacy.
My role involved developing the concept for the introductory wall. I selected a real-life orchid that would provide the best visual composition for this display. Collaborating with the photography director, we captured the orchid in the studio, after which I edited the image and recomposed it with vector illustrations of various species studied by Darwin, creating a cohesive visual narrative that highlighted his contributions to science.
